Session #5 Grains are an important part of our diet. There are 2 subgroups of grains; Whole Grains and Refined Grains. If we describe "clean eating" as eating whole foods, then we certainly should chose Whole Grains over Refined Grains. What's the difference between the two groups? What is considered a "Whole Grain"? What is a healthy serving size of Whole Grains? These are questions I answer during this session.
Many of you are familiar with the term "gluten free". Who should be eating a gluten free diet? Certainly anyone diagnosed with Celiac Disease but hold fast to a gluten free diet. What is gluten? Is a gluten free diet beneficial to anyone else? Should you have a diet free from gluten? These are questions I help my clients explore during this session.
